The Waiau Pa School PTA is a group of parents who are committed to providing support to Waiau Pa School – students, staff and families. Our aim is to work together to help our children and the school succeed. Our main focuses are to:

• fundraise for additional resources for the school
• be informative to the parent body about upcoming plans
• be a consultative group with which the school can discuss future plans & ideas
• promote positive interactions between families and the school

We meet once a month in the school staffroom (anyone is welcome to attend), either day & night to allow for most people to attend, however we know this can be difficult. The aim is to keep meetings to 1 hour duration.

The current office holders are:
Chairperson = Claire Yee
Co-Secretaries = Rochelle Yoakley & Kimberley Webster
Treasurer = Katrina Hunter

We are in the planning stages for 2018 fundraisers. If you have any suggestions please email  the PTA.

The co-ordinator for each event will take the lead and organise all the finer details ie helpers, timings, food, drinks etc. The co-ordinator will give a brief progress report at meetings, and finally complete a post-review after the event. These are filed for future reference.
